You can also consider the option to take each section separately (i.e. distance learning in Aug/Sep and practical in Nov/Dec). This allows you to have longer time to study, to repeat any of the presentations if you feel you need to, and also to split the payment over longer periods. Just keep in mind that you have to complete all segments within 12 months.

What’s NOT included

PADI fees - to be paid directly to PADI (PADI Instructor application + PADI IE participation fee 1060 USD; EFR Instructor application 146 USD; Specialty Instructor Application 92 USD each specialty except Aware Shark Conservation which has a free donation).
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
1. PADI Divemaster
or:
• an instructor member in good standing (renewed or eligible to renew) with another recognized recreational diver training organization.*
• have a leadership-level certification in good standing (renewed or eligible to renew) with another recognized recreational diver training organization;* 60 logged dives; documented experience in night diving, deep diving, and underwater navigation.
2. 18 years old
3. Medical clearance attesting to dive fitness signed by a physician within the previous 12 months, and have had no medical condition changes.
4. Certified diver for at least six months.
5. Completed the EFR Primary and Secondary Care course, or other qualifying training, within the last 24 months. Note: Emergency First Response Instructor (or qualifying rating) is required for Open Water Scuba Instructor certification.
6. Documentation of any non-PADI qualifying entry-level, advanced, rescue, and leadership level certifications* is required.

High-Quality Equipment & Facilities
Scuba diving equipment allows you to visit the underwater world by making it possible to breathe, see, and move comfortably while below the surface. It is important that all our equipment including our compressors are fully maintained and regularly checked for both your comfort and your safety. We want to make sure that you are fully comfortable and confident with our equipment. To help, we offer opportunities to practice in our on-site pool, or we provide refresher classes for experienced divers who haven't been in the ocean for a while.
Environmental Responsibility
At our center, we take this responsibility seriously. We are proud members of Green Finns and PADI Aware ambassadors. In addition, we collaborate with the Saving Our Sharks Foundation and run our own Ambassadors Del Mar initiative. This initiative is focused on providing children and fishermen on the island with the opportunity to learn about conservation and diving.
